TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between the MASAC 2027 Organizing Committee and any individual or entity completing a booking request, paper submission, registration, or participation in the conference. By submitting a paper, registering, or participating in MASAC 2027, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below.

Online Registration & Payment Policy

  • MASAC 2027 is organized and managed by the conference organizing committee. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to the MASAC 2027 Organizing Committee.
  • We reserve the right to publicly announce our professional relationship with participants, sponsors, speakers, and collaborating organizations for promotional and conference-related purposes.
  • All registrations, submissions, and purchases related to conference participation are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
  • We reserve the right to make changes to the conference venue, schedule, speakers, program, or mode of delivery due to circumstances beyond our control.
  • Any updates regarding postponement, cancellation, venue changes, or schedule modifications will be communicated through the official conference website and email notifications.
  • The conference aims to provide a safe, inclusive, productive, and professional environment free from discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate conduct.
  • Participants must behave respectfully toward fellow attendees, speakers, volunteers, organizers, exhibitors, sponsors, and venue staff.
  • Harassment, intimidation, bullying, stalking, discrimination, or inappropriate physical or verbal behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Discrimination based on gender, age, disability, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation is strictly prohibited.
  • Violations of the conference code of conduct may result in immediate removal from the conference without refund.

Photography, Audio & Video Recording

  • The conference may capture photographs, videos, and audio recordings during sessions and events.
  • Such recordings may be used for conference reports, future promotions, websites, social media, and printed materials.
  • Participants who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should notify the organizing committee in advance.
  • The conference is not responsible for photographs or recordings captured by other attendees.
  • Commercial use of conference images, recordings, or materials without written permission is prohibited.

Privacy & Communication

  • Personal information submitted during registration will be maintained securely and used only for conference-related purposes.
  • By registering, participants consent to receive conference announcements, updates, and future event communications.
  • Limited participant information may be shared with service providers, sponsors, or partners involved in conference management.
  • Personal information will not be disclosed to unrelated third parties without consent unless required by law.
  • Participants may request removal from mailing lists at any time.

Paper Review & Publication

  • Reviewer comments represent independent academic opinions and are intended solely for constructive improvement of submitted work.
  • Reviewer identities and review information remain confidential.
  • Acceptance of a paper does not guarantee publication in any specific publisher, database, or indexing service.
  • Publishers and indexing agencies independently evaluate content and may reject papers that do not satisfy their quality requirements.
  • Publication and indexing timelines vary and are beyond the direct control of the conference organizers.

Visa & Travel Responsibility

  • Participants are solely responsible for obtaining visas, travel permits, and other necessary documentation.
  • Visa refusal or travel restrictions do not qualify for registration fee refunds.
  • Where possible, online participation options may be provided.

Limitation of Liability

  • Participation in the conference is at the attendee's own risk.
  • The organizers shall not be liable for any loss, theft, damage, injury, illness, disability, or death occurring before, during, or after the conference except where required by applicable law.
  • Opinions expressed by speakers are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of the organizers.

Registration Fee (Physical Mode)

Registration fee includes access to inaugural sessions, keynote speeches, invited talks, technical sessions, paper presentation sessions, networking opportunities, conference materials, refreshments, lunch (where applicable), and participation/presentation certificates.

The conference is non-residential. Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and travel.

Important: The organizers reserve the right to amend, modify, add, or remove any part of these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued participation in the conference constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
